What happens in counseling?

We address one concern at a time. With most therapists, you have to go through your history before getting started. We believe in giving you the tools that can help right now and gather relevant information along the way. This gives you something to work on right out of the first session and increases your chances of feeling relief now.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

In CBT, we work together to change your thoughts and behaviors to improve your mood. We look at the context of your life and help you live more authentically through decreasing anxiety and depression.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

EMDR

We treat trauma through a powerful technique called bilateral stimulation that helps you decrease the impact that your past trauma on your life today.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

Exposing yourself to phobias or avoided triggers is challenging but possible with support and expertise. OCD is treatable.

Family Therapy

Families can be stuck in patterns of communication that lead them to have anger and resentment towards each other. We use creative problem solving to help families connect through breaking bad habits.

What about costs?

Most of our clients see our therapists as out of network with their insurance company. We offer Superbills to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. As of April 2024, Michael charges $195 per session, Rajiv charges $175, Alejandra charges $150, Rose charges $150, Liz charges $150.

How many sessions does it take?

  • Only what is necessary
  • Approximately 10-16 sessions per issue treated
  • Come back as needed for reinforcement or support.
